I have always known that my calling lies in the human services field. My journey began in 2001 when I started as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), a role that reaffirmed my dedication to helping others. It became evident that my true passion was in the realm of mental health services. As I pursued my master's degree, I gained valuable experience in various roles, including Program Manager for intellectually delayed adults, In-Home Behavioral Specialist, and Mental Health Case Manager for both youth and adults. My academic journey culminated with a practicum at Advanced Behavior Health in Minnesota, where I specialized in treating adults with diverse developmental delays. Upon returning to my home state of Wisconsin, I continued to build my expertise as a Crisis worker and CLTS Case Manager.

Ultimately, my commitment to making a difference led me to establish Wings of Eagles Counseling Clinic. What began as a private practice has since expanded to offer a range of services to our clients. My therapeutic approach is characterized by its didactic, eclectic, and client-centered nature. I firmly believe that there is no one-size-fits-all solution when it comes to assisting clients on their path to wellness and wholeness. I have training in CBT, DBT, Motivational Interviewing, Trauma informed Care (Inner child work) and Certified in Prepare/Enrich couples counseling.

In every session, I empower my clients and their families to uncover and utilize their unique strengths to navigate life's challenges. When I'm not working with clients, I treasure moments spent with my family and friends, find solace in attending church, and savor opportunities to travel. Those close to me may even jest that I'm always working, driven by my unwavering pursuit of discovering innovative therapeutic techniques. I am passionate about participating in various training and educational programs to enhance my skills. I understand that our communities are in a constant state of evolution, and my commitment to ongoing education equips me and my team to serve our diverse client base with the most up-to-date knowledge and tools.

I've always been driven to work in a field where I can make a positive impact on people's lives, recognizing the crucial role mental health plays in overall success. In my past roles, I've had the privilege of working with at-risk youth in both day treatment and residential facilities. My passion lies in highlighting the importance of self-care and mental well-being.

As a seasoned behavior support specialist with over 5 years of experience, my focus has been on guiding at-risk teens and their families through challenging times. I am dedicated to addressing issues such as conflict, anxiety, anger, conduct, and self-harm by fostering close collaboration with clients and their support circles to help them achieve success. Since joining Wings of Eagles in January 2022, I have brought a wealth of expertise to our team, providing invaluable assistance to teens and families navigating these complex issues.

Outside of work, I find joy in spending time with friends and family, and I am passionate about staying active outdoors. Committed to supporting your journey towards personal growth and well-being, I look forward to continuing to collaborate with my coworkers and leveraging the growth I have achieved as a counselor to better serve the community.

As a Mental Health Counselor, I am deeply committed to offering a safe and supportive environment where clients are treated with the utmost dignity and respect. Whether you're facing challenges related to parenting, relationships, work, spirituality, life's purpose, past traumas, or self-esteem, I'm here to listen, understand, and work collaboratively with you towards achieving your goals. During my Counseling Practicum, I received specialized training in Parent-Child Interaction Therapy and the 1-2-3 Magic approach, making me well-equipped to assist with the unique needs of strong-willed youngsters. I am also a certified Prepare/Enrich couples counselor.

My journey led me back to Green Bay after 26 years in Kentucky, where I worked as an Environmental Inspector. While I cherish the memories of my time in the Bluegrass State and the friends I made, it's wonderful to be reunited with family in Green Bay. My shift from environmental work to the field of mental health has been a transformative and fulfilling experience.

In my free time, I find joy in spending quality moments with family and friends, exploring the great outdoors through hiking and camping, honing my culinary skills in the kitchen, and discovering hidden treasures in antique shops. I'm also a proud pet parent to two lovely kitties, Auggie and Moose. I look forward to the opportunity to work with you and support your journey towards improved mental well-being.

Psychology has consistently shaped my life, with a commitment dating back to high school. While the exact role within the field was initially uncertain, my journey led me through diverse positions in nursing homes, where I served in various capacities, including as a nursing assistant. These roles, though emotionally challenging, provided profound insights into the nuanced impacts of anticipatory loss, grief, and compassion fatigue on both caregivers and recipients of care.

Through these experiences, I developed a deep understanding that the emotions associated with each individual are unique, necessitating personalized care and treatment approaches. My primary goal is to establish a trusting environment where clients feel genuinely heard, guiding them on a path toward resiliency and well-being.  During my pursuit of a master's education, I cultivated a keen interest in assessment and psychological testing. Recognizing that accurate assessment forms the foundation for the best treatment outcomes, I am dedicated to employing these tools to enhance the well-being of our clients.

Originating from New Mexico, I spent 22 years there before residing in Colorado and eventually relocating to Wisconsin. Beyond my professional pursuits, I find joy in spending quality time with my partner and his two daughters. My personal interests include music, with a penchant for traveling to concerts, as well as indulging in reading and nurturing connections with animals, including our three guinea pigs. I eagerly anticipate the opportunity to forge therapeutic relationships at Wings of Eagles.

Office Assistant

Being involved in human services has long been a dream of mine, and I feel grateful to now support this community in meaningful ways.  I come from a big family of eight siblings—five girls and three boys—so I’ve learned a thing or two about teamwork, patience, and surviving chaos! I’m also a proud mom to one incredible son—my little superhero and my whole world .  Losing my father at a young age showed me the power of compassion. The caregivers and counselors who supported us inspired me to dedicate my life to helping others and being there during life’s important transitions.

I’ve spent the past eight years in healthcare, and caring for others has always been close to my heart. Now, as an office assistant, I love keeping things organized, supporting staff and clients, and making sure everyone feels welcomed. I believe a little humor goes a long way, so don’t be surprised if we share a laugh along the way! I’m looking forward to meeting everyone, building connections, and being part of this wonderful team. Helping others has always been my purpose, and I feel truly blessed to continue that journey here.

I have a passion for helping young men navigate life’s challenges and discover their purpose. My work is rooted in faith, gratitude, and the belief that every young person deserves a second chance. At the heart of what I do is a desire to equip youth with the skills they need to grow — whether that’s learning independence, developing emotional resilience, or building confidence in who they are created to be.  I specialize in Safety and Life Skills Training and Trauma-Informed Care, focusing on helping young men recognize their worth, build trust, and create healthy foundations for adulthood. My goal is to provide structure, encouragement, and a safe space for growth and healing.

My calling to this work comes from personal experience. Growing up in a difficult environment, I faced many of the same struggles our youth experience today. Through faith, mentorship, and determination, I found strength and direction — and now use that journey to connect with and encourage others walking a similar path.

Outside of work, I’ve been blessed with over two decades of marriage grounded in faith and love, and I’m a proud father and caretaker of three energetic dogs. Each day, I strive to lead with compassion, consistency, and a servant’s heart — helping young men believe in themselves, find hope, and move confidently toward a brighter future.

I've been passionate about Human Services since childhood, long before I even knew the field's name. My professional journey in Human Services began in 2014 and has continued to this day, as I've worked closely with various community partners. Over the years, I've held roles such as a Community Resource Specialist, a Human Services Clerk for the County, and a Skill Level Provider with another community organization, accumulating valuable experience and training along the way.

I'm excited to continue my growth in this field here at Wings of Eagles, collaborating with dedicated professionals and eager peers. In my personal time, I cherish creating meaningful experiences with my talkative 6-year-old daughter. Our conversations are a highlight of our time together. Art, music, and culture play a central role in our lives. Beyond my work, I'm also a poet and lyricist, and I enjoy writing short stories. My love for words has been influenced by Eastern philosophy. My greatest joy in life comes from my family – not only the one I was born into but also the family I've created through friendship. They provide me with unwavering support and happiness.
